What is a Front Fender?
Front Fenders on a Corvette are panels of urethane that are located on the side of the vehicle, by the door and over and around the front wheels. The front fenders of the Corvette are integrated into the anatomy of the car and give it a contour that is designed to avoid wind resistance and make the Corvette more aerodynamic. The front fenders also act as shields keeping mud, pebbles, and other road debris from splashing on and scratching the paint coat of the vehicle.
