C3 Corvette Oil Pressure Gauge

1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982

This part is a new, reproduction C3 Oil Pressure Gauge which can be installed in any of the following Corvette models:

NOTE: New gauges do not require the use of the factory resistor (due to updated internal electronics) and may display inaccurate calibrations if resistors are installed. If your gauge is not reading correctly, remove the resistor.

New Replacement Gauge Instructions

New, reproduction small electric gauges for 1965 to 1982 Corvette models do not require the use of a small resistor band like the original gauges require. The band is shown in the picture below.

The electronics inside the new gauges have been brought up to date with current technology. Because of the new electronics, there is no reason to install the resistor in the same location where the gauge was originally installed.

All of the other wiring connections and mounting points are the same. If you accidentally re-used the resistor, your new gauge will not be damaged, but it may not display the correct calibration when the resistor is installed.
