This part is a new new, reproduction C3 Lower Center Windshield Header Frame which can be installed on any of the following Corvette models:

NOTE: This C3 Lower Center Windshield Header Frame will repair the lower area between lower corner/side posts. It includes the inner and outer steel welded together.

C3 Corvette models are commonly found with rusty birdcage body supports and floor pans due to water leaking through the windshield post or frame assembly. Water is known to collect under the frame moldings and in the channels, which causes rust. Eventually the rust buildup allows water to leak into the interior compartment of the car. A repair can only be accomplished by cutting out the original rusted components and welding in a new windshield frame.
